CooperActive II

Eesti People to People NGO, PTPI Tallinn, Estonian chapter, is partner with other 11 organizations in Erasmus+ “CooperActive II” project. Duration of the project is 01/04/2016 – 30/09/2017. Coordinator is IDA (Bulgaria).
This is Erasmus+ Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices project, action “Capacity Building for Youth in ACP countries, Latin America and Asia”. This project aims the reflection and exchange of views and development of ideas for recognition of Youth Work and Non-Formal Learning in the Youth Field.

The main objective of the project is recognition of the competences acquired in non-formal learning, recognition of the professionalism and the contribution of the coaches, trainers and youth leaders and lobbying for legislative changes. Project also promote transnational cooperation by helping to remove obstacles to vocational and geographical mobility and opening access to the labor market.

There were number of project activities on the international and local levels. Partners met in Sofia in 2016 to introduce the methodologies and results of the first part of the project. Than partners conducted monitoring and review of policies, resources and practices in non-formal learning, conducted the national training courses for 30 (in each country) youth leaders and leaders of organizations associated with the introduction of the developed methodology and documentation of quality management and the national training course for 30 (in each country) youth trainers and trainers associated with the introduction to the methodology for conducting training and acquire the additional core competencies.

Partners also conducted the national round tables between representative of youth organizations about national validation and recognition of key competencies acquired during youth training. Final international conference with presentation of the results and recommendations was in Sofia on August 28-September 2, 2017. One of result of this project is the establishment of an informal network of youth organizations – training services providers. Partners also disseminated results and products of the project outside project consorcium.
