Asia

The Asian continent is home to some of the most diverse collections of ethnicities, cultures and traditions on the planet. With a mix of over 52 culturally distinct ethnicities and several major religions, a visit here is an eye opening experience. Our PTPI programs have explored these traditions and people, and we look forward to participating in the Chapter Network by promoting youth exchange programs to share our cultural history across the globe.

We have programs that allow participants to experience the heart of Asia through contacts with people and their homes, history and culture. Through community service projects, homestays and participation in conferences, we share our rich cultural histories with others. Our festivals date back many thousands of years and when they meet our modern thinking, the blend provides new ways to experience tradition.

The officers that serve the Asian continent, our Asia Executive Committee (AEC or Council) are all established members living and working locally. They bring the expertise and practical experience we need to be effective change agents at a grass-roots level.
