Airport arrivals
The airport of Alghero is no more than 10 kms from the city. Here, you will find a link to the many ways you can get to/from the airport to the city of Alghero. If you would like to know more about Alghero, the Welcome Alghero tourist office is a good source of information. NOTE: the conference is not being held in the city of Alghero. See below for actual location please!
Travel to Conference location in Sassari
We shall shortly post information about travel to/from Sassari which is where we are being hosted by the University for the conference and where our hotel accommodation is sourced. We know there is a bus from Alghero Airport or we can arrange a driver to meet you at a cost in the range of 15 to 20 euro.
Conference location – University of Sassari
We have had a long-standing relationship with the University of Sassari and this is where Carlo, our person in Sardinia, is located. We shall have use of the facilities for our meetings and there is a canteen should we wish to eat on site. The location is a 15-minute walk from our hotel. During our time in Sardina we will make every effort to ensure you experience the food and culture of this amazing location. Other information about Sassari from the tourist office.

This information has been negotiated for our delegates at an amazing rate. Which means that everyone can stay at the same accommodation. Youth hostels are not on offer in this part of Sardinia.

Below are the rates reserved for your guests to stay from 16 to 18 June 2023: Three types of rooms offered, with B&B treatment – Bed and Breakfast:
SINGLE (1 PAX) – € 60.00 daily price per room
DOUBLE or TWIN (2 PAX) – € 80.00 daily price per room
TRIPLE room (3 PAX) – € 120.00 daily price per room
Rates are per day per room; inclusive of:
– BREAKFAST (fruit, yoghurt, homemade cakes and sweets with hot express coffee)
– WI-FI and AIR CONDITIONING INCLUDED, daily makeover of the room, with change of towels if necessary.
The rates include the TOURIST TAX of € 1.00 per day per person.
The agreed rate cannot be combined with the promotional or discounted rates offered on the Hotel website or on other websites.
