An important message from our World HQ about COVID-19:
Dear Loyal People to People Ambassador,
I wanted to take this opportunity, with the recent developments, to share our organization’s current status on the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) as we understand you may have questions and concerns about your travel this year. First and foremost, our devotion to peace through understanding is only accomplishable through you and your experiences on our programs, therefore, we want you to be confident that the health and safety of our travellers are paramount.
As we always have, we continue to work with and take guidance from the U.S. Department of State, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are also in constant communication with our worldwide partners and other leaders in the travel industry. Per the industry standard at this time, most travel programs will go forward as planned this year.
We are still months away from any of our departure dates, as most are in late summer, fall and winter, and we are confident your program will run as planned and that you will still have a safe, impactful and enriching experience.
We understand if you’re concerned about travel at this time, but People to People Adult Travel Programs are not taking place for several months, at which point we will re-evaluate, if necessary, to determine if dates should be moved. We are also booking for 2021 Cultural Exchanges at this time if you would be more comfortable with travel next year.
