Subject: Important Update on Funds Transfer to PTPI Chapters
Dear PTPI Chapter Members,
I hope this message finds you all well and continuing to contribute positively to our shared mission. I’m reaching out today to address an important matter concerning the transfer of funds from PTPI’s head office (GCC Brussels) to our various chapters.
In an era where financial scrutiny is at an all-time high, we must adhere to the highest standards of financial conduct. Scandals and money laundering issues are making headlines, and as a reputable organization, we are committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in all our transactions.
Authorized Account Transfers: To comply with these standards, any funds sent from the head office to a chapter must be transferred directly into an authorized bank account held in the chapter’s name. This process ensures a clear financial trail and upholds our responsibility to manage funds appropriately.
For Chapters Without Bank Accounts: In instances where a local chapter does not have an official registration or a bank account in its name, we require an expense form to be completed by the person who will act as the receiver of the funds. By doing so, the receiver accepts responsibility for delivering the funds to the local chapter.
Documentation and Proof of Transaction: It is mandatory to retain the expense claim along with email correspondence confirming the transaction as a record. This documentation is vital for our financial accountability and will serve as proof of the transaction’s legitimacy.
Upcoming Regulatory Changes: Please be aware that financial regulations are tightening globally, and we expect to update our internal processes accordingly. We will keep you informed of any changes that might affect the way we handle chapter finances.
