Togo, October 21, 2016: People to People International’s Lome, Togo Chapter executed an impactful project that supported 35 orphans by donating school supplies and fully covering one-year of their school fees.
The chapter prepared an event to present these materials to the beneficiaries as well as PTPI’s mission and the importance of the project. Along with the PTPI Chapter Officials, invited guests included teachers, government officials, the Representative of the Regional Director of Education, the District Director of Education in Togo and members from the National Youth Council.
“The Representative of the Regional Director of Education, Mr. Boko, extended good wishes from the Ministry of Education and the Regional Directorate to People to People International’s Lome Togo Chapter and its members for their kind gesture to support and promote education of the less privileged in society.
He also encouraged the chapter to continue with the good work and work out to reach as many children in the coming years.”

Togo, officially the Togolese Republic (French: République togolaise), is a country in West Africa bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east and Burkina Faso to the north.
