About us

The chapter in Roman was founded in 1989 and it involves cultural, social and humanitarian activities, with more than 100 active members. Although our chapter is a Community Chapter, the majority of our members are students, aged between 15 and 19. As a chapter, we focus on activities that will develop our members’ skills and prepare them for life, as well as teach them to be good citizens.

We have hosted the European Conference twice, in 2003 and in 2016. In the past three years, we have raised money through fund raising activities and handmade decorations that we sold around Christmas time. This way, we have enhanced the accommodation conditions for our local hospital paediatric ward and for the Day Care Center for Adults with Disabilities in Roman.
